'Closeted' refers to someone who hides a large part of their identity that many construe as a 'bad' thing, such as being gay, because they are afraid of the social ramifications of 'coming out of the closet', or telling people about this part of their identity. It is slang.

I meant that he was adamant about being heterosexual for a long time, and insisted we were only friends. It took a lot of coaxing, but he is comfortable with it now.

Our wedding bands are plain. Solid gold. Nothing fancy. There isn't much reason for this except that I am Jewish and it is traditional. We chose the engagement rings to match in color and just chose to personal taste, I suppose.
