I sure understand that. I had to break up with the boy I was seeing before I was joined because now he reminds me of a past host's son... and everyone keeps comparing me to my last host, Jadzia. "You have her eyes", "you have her smile"; I don't know how to explain to them that I really don't and they're projecting their memories of her onto me. It's horrid!

And all this after the crew on my last station all but stopped speaking to me after I was joined because it felt "weird" to them.

I even went back to Trill to see the counsel that overseeing symbiont bonds in person, but they couldn't do a thing to help me, even if they wanted to.
