[ ACTION ]

[ Just come with us to the holosuite to play a little Bashir 62, they said. We can dress up, relax, have dinner, and listen to Vic Fontaine's voice butter us into a better tomorrow, they said. It'll be fun, they said! ]
[ No one mentioned to Ezri that walking through the holosuite door while the wormhole was opening outside the station would trigger a neutrino surge from the Deatth Chat program on her PADD so powerful that she and the contents of her game would be forcibly sucked into the bubble. ]
[ Empty tables and chairs are set nicely around the room, and the piano on the stage plays energizing music despite the lack of a musician warming its bench. There are no windows in this empty 1962 Earth Jazz diner lounge, but curtained doors line the walls ... maybe they open to a different sort of setting or game formed by your own cognition? ]
[ When Ezri woke up here, maybe the surge from her copy of the app caused yours to surge and forcibly insert you into the bubble as well. Maybe it made the entry button flash and buzz to notify you something was going on in here. Maybe it had no effect at all, and you carried about your day in peace. ]
[ Bubble guide for reference. ]

[ This is, overall, absolutely horrifying. When Ezri wakes up on the floor of the club lounge, she'd taken a moment to look around in disbelief at the uncharacteristically empty-of-holograms lounge — ]
Vic? Hey, Vic, where is everyone?
[ If you want a confused and still-processing Ezri laying on the carpet, here's your chance. ]
[b]
[ Ezri's confusion spikes when Vic Fontaine's AI hologram doesn't show up to greet her and explain, and that's just very unlike him. She brushes her period-appropriate dress off and stands as she searches at her hip and realizes she doesn't have her PADD, this had been a leisure trip, and soaks in that... ah. The app again.]
Now, how in the world did I end up here?
[ Now collected and having at least a minimal idea of what's going on, Ezri gets up to explore. Which of these doors is the exit, and where do they all lead to...? ]

Wh--
[She jumps to her feet, holding Leopatra like a club.]
If this is you, Ryu, I swear you messed with the wrong--
[She spots Ezri.]
Oh. Um. Where are we?
[She doesn't stop holding Leopatra like a club. Just in case.]

[ Chara arrives, decked in what appears to be steel plate armour of some kind. They have a sword in their hand, glimmering with magic, and their skin is tinted a sickly blue colour. They lower their weapon. How frustrating, it would seem I will have to reset once this is over. They look up, visibly confused at the different room. ]
Where are we? Is this the meeting room? I didn't know it could change.

[ Ouma arrives. One moment he was sitting on his couch, idly playing a video game he was only half interested in, and the next he knew his eyes had fluttered closed and he woke up here. It takes less than a second for the instinctive panic to start, his mind fixating on the last time he just woke up in an enclosed space with no prior warning with people he knew nothing about. His hands start to shake before he tries to bury his panic. No. This is the... Homestuck Dream Bubble feature. It's fine. This is fine. He's fine. ]
[ He stares over at Ezri, Chara and Fiona on the other side of the room, his eyes narrowing in their direction. Unlike his canon appearance, this one has been sitting in his apartment depressed as fuck and alone for months. So he looks much more dishevelled, wearing only sweatpants and a hoodie. ]
Hmmm. Drawn in. Again. Typical. Anyone gonna explain what's going on or do I have to start making something up?
