Your work for the Queen had also made Phantomhive a name to be feared by any with ill intent against crown or country.

That is correct on my end, as well. It seems our timelines are at least consistent up until this point, if nothing else.

Officially, a cause of death was never determined. It was quite the mystery at the time. Given your position, most people assumed foul play of some sort, but there was no real evidence of anything.

Money. Power. Vengeance. The story varies depending on who tells it. When I was a child, my father always made it sound less like a curse and more like a particularly opportunistic guardian angel.

I find it... strange and unnervingly coincidental that our situations are so similar. It seems almost staged.

Each family head has dealt with him, according to you. You then stated that 'if not for Sebastian', they would have succeeded in wiping out your family and that he 'saved' you, but for your own story, your father must have had a deal with him at the time your family was wiped out by an 'entity' (or 'organisation' otherwise, though this seems unlikely at this point) and you were left with S. as your only option to move forward. Elaborate on these things.

Her family came to Japan with mine. According to her, one of her ancestors owed the Earl Phantomhive an incredible debt, and swore to always protect the Earl's family to repay him for his kindness. She doesn't know the precise details, but that may have been your Mey-Rin.

My father wasn't in a contract with S when he died. S had a deal with my grandfather when my father was young, but I was the next to summon him after that. My parents were killed by assassins, and I have proof that they were at least connected to an organization involved in a recent case of human trafficking and chemical warfare. My aunt had been involved with the hit on my family, and she was conspiring with very real people. Whether or not she knew who the order had come from, she died before I could learn anything more than that.

Besides, he could hardly fulfill a contract to kill the person responsible for my parents' murders as the person responsible for my parents' murders. And if he was planning to eventually break the contract, he already had the opportunity and didn't take it.

And I'm not going to be. Maybe married, if something is arranged, but... If you mean to say the point of this is simply to preserve the Phantomhive bloodline, there's nothing he can do to stop that ending with me. At least in terms of genetics.
