[ It’s a collection of date night photos Nate had intended to send to Sachiko upon request. There is no accompanying message.

The first was a photo Light had requested their waitress take; they’re sitting on either sides of a booth. They’re both in sweaters, and they’d each intentionally positioned their hands so that their rings are visible in the photo (but they’ll both vehemently deny it’s on purpose).

The second is a photo taken outside the restaurant. A selfie of Light kissing Nate’s cheek — Nate’s face says he feels awkward about stopping for the photo.

The third is a candid shot of a 29-year-old Light Yagami, who is trying to use two forks as chopsticks to eat a mozerella stick to prove a point to Nate that had resulted from a joking debate. ]

This app's incessant invasion into our private communication is annoying.

[ It almost seems to have a sense of comedic timing. ]

That said, you two look happy together.

These are pretty images.

[ They also deeply alienate him in the sense any picture of a happy and fulfilled life alienates him. The domestic bliss depicted feels like it's out of a movie or a commercial, not real and tangible and part of the same world Teru experiences.

... which, to be fair, it also really isn't. 2019 in a potentially different universe is hardly something Teru can call familiar. ]

The privacy breaches of this 'app' are worrisome though.
